Mission Folk is thrilled to partner with Clarke Theatre and City of Mission to kick off the holiday season with the soul-stirring sounds of the Marcus Mosely Ensemble!
Born in Ralls, Texas, Marcus Mosely grew up steeped in the rich traditions of gospel music. Since moving to Vancouver in 1985, he has made an indelible impact on the worlds of music, theatre, and film, earning a place in the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame. As a founding member of the award-winning gospel trio The Sojourners, Mosely has continued to inspire audiences with his powerful voice and message.
Now, as the leader of the Marcus Mosely Ensemble, Mosely brings together a versatile group that delivers a vibrant gospel sound guaranteed to lift your spirits and get you into the festive mood. Don’t miss this uplifting evening of music!

Hosted by festival favourites Michael Jantzen and Tony Ivan O’Hara, the community is welcome to join in this weekly jam – held every Thursday from 6:30 to 9:30pm. Special monthly guests are sponsored by Mission Folk!
38th Annual Mission Folk Music Festival Dates Announced!
Connecting and celebrating people across cultures, geographies, and generations through music, song, stories, dance, and sharing of cultural traditions together in one of BC’s most beautiful parks. We’re all about the magic of music bringing people together!
We cannot wait to return to Fraser River Heritage Park and invite you to join us on July 25 – 27, 2025 for our 38th Annual Mission Folk Music Festival.
What you can expect at the festival:

~ fives stages with concerts, dances, workshops, and jams
~ artisan market, food court, beer garden, wee folks activities, camping
