Marcus Mosely’s early years were spent immersed in the music and culture of the Gospel tradition in his home town in Ralls, Texas, He moved to Vancouver in 1985, and has since made a big mark in the music, theater and film worlds – and is a BC Entertainment Hall of Fame inductee. He was a founding member of the multi-award winning gospel group, The Sojourners. Today, he performs as a soloist and directs The Marcus Mosely Ensemble, a small and versatile group with a broad repertoire that can deliver a full, glorious, chill-up-your-spine gospel sound.
