We are excited to partner with Mission’s newest brewery to present live music on the First Friday of the month.

Hosted by festival favourites Michael Jantzen and Tony Ivan O’Hara, the community is welcome to join in this weekly jam – held every Thursday from 6:30 to 9:30pm. Special monthly guests are sponsored by Mission Folk!

Thanks to the generous support of the City of Mission, we were thrilled to partner with the Silverdale Hall, Redburn Lockhart Realty, and Los Churros to present latin band Mazacote for Cinco de Mayo! This festive night of dancing featured live music, fresh churros, a Mexican food truck and marketplace.

Juno-nominated world/latin band MAZACOTE is a hard-hitting six piece with deep roots in the music of Colombia, Mozambique and Venezuela. Inspired by Afro-Caribbean percussion and tropical party sounds, they play brass heavy latin dance beats with a socially conscious message. They bring the dance vibe to the party.

Thanks to the generous support of Heritage Canada & the City of Mission, we were thrilled to present the award winning and highly acclaimed band Le Vent du Nord – a leading force in Quebec’s progressive francophone folk movement. The group’s vast repertoire draws from both traditional sources and original compositions, while enhancing it’s hard-driving soulful music (rooted in the Celtic diaspora) with a broad range of global influences.

Mission Folk Music Festival was thrilled to partner with Tourism Mission for Shine Bright Mission on March 3, 2023 to present an evening of music in Downtown Mission, as part of a celebration of community, first responders, and local businesses in Mission.

Mara Hatklin (Gallery 202) Patrick Anthony (The Penny) and MarKaren Music (Bee Thai Mall) entertained the community at their respective locations. On mainstage, were be entertained by roots country band Headlong Hearts and local favourites, John Welsh & Los Valientes.

What a great evening with James Keelaghan and David Woodhead at the Copper Hall, Mission.

Thanks to the generous support of Canadian Heritage, we were thrilled to present James as he debuted his latest album “Second-Hand”.

Mission Folk Music Festival was delighted to sponsor this year’s Wassail, hosted by Jennie Bice & Deborah Handley!
