Fraser River Heritage Park

Fraser River Heritage Park has been the physical home to the Mission Folk Music Festival since its inception. 

We acknowledge the social, cultural, and historical impacts of the residential school that existed in the park and the architectural ruins  that remain on the grounds. 

We acknowledge our privilege of producing our event in this park, upon Sto:lo territory, and commit as an organization to the principles of reconciliation as set forth by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. 

We acknowledge the natural beauty of the landscape, creatures and plants found there and we commit to producing our event in as green a manner as possible. This includes using compostable items, banning single use plastics, and managing our travel plans to reduce our carbon footprint.
